Key Points

  • For each center of governance in a nation, a plot of land will be leased or purchased from the government of the nation being operated in
  • This will be functionally equivalent to the Federal District of Columbia in the united states, housing the main operating facilities for each branch of government
  • This district is split into sub-districts, one for each branch of government plus an additional district for civil servant housing, and an additional district for civil services
    • One district for the executive, which is the president/vice and his/her cabinet
    • One district for the legislative branch
      • Split into represenatives and senators or their country equivalents
    • One district for the judicial branch
    • One district for the oversight branch
    • One district for the housing of all of the civil servants currently in-office
    • One district for civil services like grocery, police, fire, hospital, etc

Policies

  • There are roughly 52 weeks in a calendar year
  • Civil Servants are required to spend 3 weeks per month in office doing their elected job
  • Civil servants are required to spend 1 week per month in their home district or state with constituents
  • Salary and travel are paid for by the political fund of the corporation
  • During election season, the sovereign wealth fund will allocate a specific portion of money, split evenly among all candidates running for office
    • Allotment caps for the political wealth fund, up to $1M
  • Civil servants are forbidden from the following activities:
    • Receiving private campaign contributions from third parties, all funds must go through the political soveriegn fund
    • Running attack ads against their opponents, this is strictly forbidden and your office is immediately up for re-election if this policy is violated
    • Civil servants are forbidden from leaving the district while in office, outside of the scheduled 1 week constituency and scheduled vacation
    • This does not include or limit cases of emergency.
    • This also does not include the office of president and vice president, because they need to be available everywhere in the region they’re operating in
